The Story.
Two large emperor penguins stand in an Antarctic landscape. One penguin holds an egg on its feet, and a tiny city grows from it. The egg has a small crack on its side, showing its fragility, yet the city inside continues to thrive. This represents new beginnings, the care it takes to help something grow, and how human ambition and creation are connected to the world around us.
The other penguin has a cracked egg beside it, with miniature houses spilled across the snow, some broken, some tipped over, some buried. That penguin is not looking at the mess. It is watching the thriving city on the other penguin’s feet, reflecting on how different beginnings can unfold in very different ways.
The painting is about fragility and resilience. Some things fall apart, while others grow with care and attention. A New Kingdom invites viewers to consider the weight of creation, the responsibility of nurturing something fragile, and the unexpected ways life and human potential can thrive, even from imperfect starts.

Free Canada-wide shipping is included with all original paintings. Each piece is carefully packaged in foam, with protective wrap, reinforced corners, and sturdy cardboard to ensure safe arrival. All original paintings ship from Kelowna, BC, are insured, and require a signature upon delivery. Tracking numbers are provided for all orders.

Damaged or Lost During Shipping:
In the rare event of damage or loss during transit, please contact me within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the packaging and artwork. We will help file a claim with the carrier and work to resolve the issue.

Studio Pick up For Original Paintings

If you're in the Okanagan, you can purchase original paintings online and pick them up at my studio. Just select pickup at checkout. You're also welcome to visit my studio in person to see the artwork before purchasing it.

I have a select few prints available in my studio, but all prints purchased through my website are printed and shipped directly by a print house, so they cannot be picked up at the studio.
